Ich bin gut in Deutschland angekommen und der Arbeitsalltag hat mich relativ flott wieder. Obwohl so viel geändert hat sich dann auch nicht: wie immer bereite ich mich im Home Office auf meine Jobs vor und habe in Vorbereitung Telefonkonferenzen.
Schon mal im Halteverbot mit ruhigem Gewissen gestanden?
Für den Job in Berlin wurde extra für mich und einen anderen Teil der Crew direkt vor der Location ein Halteverbotsschild aufgestellt. Dort hatte ich also mitten in Berlin meinen Parkplatz und gleichzeitig mein zu Hause mit dabei.

Da ich einen 24h stündigen Livestream moderiert habe für http://www.we-will-thrive.com und die Korrespondenz mit Los Angelos moderierte, arbeitete ich erst von 21 Uhr an, dann dafür bis morgens um 9 Uhr. Ich empfand es als Glück, dass ich meinen eigenen privaten Backstagebereich hatte, wo mich niemand störte. Ich joggte morgens am Fennsee in Berlin, machte Yoga, meditierte und konnte mich nochmal in Ruhe hinlegen. Da ja Campingplätze der Zeit noch geschlossen sind, musste ich jemanden fragen, ob ich dort duschen und meine Haare waschen könne. Das war aber alles kein Problem. Wir sind doch alle nur Menschen.
Der Job lief gut und ich freute mich, endlich mal wieder einen Job zu haben, mich vorzubereiten, zu schminken, Moderationskarten zu kleben und endlich wieder vor der Kamera zu stehen und zu moderieren. Viele Kollegen wünschten mir viel Erfolg und konnten die Sendung mitverfolgen. Das ist sonst bei Events ja nicht der Fall.
Sonntag morgen haben wir alle mit Sekt angestoßen. Danach wollte ich aber auch schnell ins Grüne.
Meine Mama sprach seit Tagen von nichts anderem als dem Scharmützelsee. Mein Bruder meinte, dass er mal in Bad Saarow gearbeitet hätte und das dort ein toller See wäre. Den suchte ich im Internet und natürlich es war der Scharmützelsee. Also stand meine Wahl fest. Ich habe wieder gemütlich auf einem Parkplatz gestanden und dort mein Lager aufgestellt.
Scharmützelsee
Der Scharmützelsee ist mit viel Grün umgeben. Allerdings gibt es auch viele Seegrundstücke, was für die Bewohner toll ist. Doch dadurch ist man gar nicht die ganze Zeit am Wasser, Dennoch gab es schöne Häuser zu bestaunen und die Vögel sangen wieder wunderschöne Lieder. Eine Nacht blieb ich in der Natur. Am nächsten Tag machte ich noch einen Spaziergang und kehrte dann wieder zurück nach Hause.
Zwischendurch überkam mich das Gefühl: wow mit diesem Auto bin ich 2 Monate in Spanien gewesen, unglaublich. Nun bin ich damit in Deutschland. Es ist wirklich schön, die eigenen 4 Wände immer dabei zu haben und sich immer und überall heimisch zu fühlen.
First Job in Germany, with Van in Berlin – Scharmützelsee
I arrived in Germany in good shape and the everyday working life has made me relatively quick again. Although not much has changed: as always, I prepare for my jobs in the home office and have conference calls in preparation.

For the job in Berlin, a no-parking sign was erected directly in front of the location especially for me and another part of the crew. So there I had my parking space in the middle of Berlin and my home with me at the same time.

Since I moderated a 24 hour live stream for http://www.we-will-thrive.com and moderated the correspondence with Los Angeles, I worked from 9 pm on, then until 9 am in the morning. I felt lucky to have my own private backstage area where nobody bothered me. I jogged at the Fennsee in Berlin in the morning, did yoga, meditated and was able to lie down again in peace. Since campsites of the time are still closed, I had to ask someone if I could shower and wash my hair there. But that was no problem at all. We are all only human.
The job went well and I was happy to finally have a job again, to prepare myself, to do make-up, to stick moderation cards and finally to be in front of the camera and to moderate again. Many colleagues wished me good luck and were able to follow the show. This is not usually the case with events.
Sunday morning we all toasted with champagne. Afterwards I wanted to go to the countryside quickly.
My mum had been talking about nothing but the Scharmützelsee for days. My brother said that he had once worked in Bad Saarow and that it was a great lake there. I searched for it on the Internet and of course it was the Scharmützelsee. So my choice was clear. I stood again comfortably on a parking lot and set up my camp there.
The Scharmützelsee is surrounded by a lot of green. But there are also a lot of lake plots, which is great for the inhabitants. But because of that you are not at the water all the time, but there were nice houses to admire and the birds sang beautiful songs again. One night I stayed in the nature. The next day I went for a walk and returned home.
In between I was overcome by the feeling: wow with this car I have been in Spain for 2 months, unbelievable. Now I am in Germany with it. It is really nice to have your own 4 walls always with you and to feel at home everywhere and at all times.
